ducati v2 shifter gets stuck

so i laid my bike down softly sadly nothing looks damaged but 4 days later my shifter gets stuck down and i have to jiggle it to go back up any ideas what it could be ? it shifts okay but once i shift down it gets stuck

Have you pulled it off the transmission splines? Wondering if any rounded on you.

Just today I had to move my Multistrada's- the angle I set it at for my (US) size 13 shoe allowed it to rotate down at nearly a 90° angle, where it got stuck on the side stand spring.

Not the same bike, but worth a mention I believe.
