Hi Guys , i have a ducati sf sp model 2022 , and i have periodic miss shifthing from 5th to 6th gears ,and it goes to neutral and hit the rev limiter. It happens mostly under hard acceleretion . I have read that some other guys have the same problem , is there any solution ? Also i am reading that some guys whent with the cordona dqs ? Any feedback with this?

Thank you

Shorten the gear lever (I guess you can't do this with stock rearsets?). Speeds up shift drum rotation. Your stroke is too short which is never appreciated.

Hi All- I have to add, I have the same problem with my SFV4S-MY2023. Frustrating as other bikes I have had and have now, that are comparable in power etc have no such issues. Hope the new SF MY25 doesn’t have same issues for new owners. 5-6th gear…false neutrals etc.. tried diagnosis with dealers etc. I will look into rolling road test and possibly change to GP shift. Will let everyone know.

I have the same issue on my 2022 SFV4 but from 1st to 2nd. I have been considering a Cordona quick shifter but didn’t know if that would resolve the issue. Does anyone have a Cordona or an opinion on it?

I wrote this reply in another thread regarding QS.

Also, don't go Translogic or Cordona for an aftermarket QS. The HM QS is a strain gauge, but allows you to make adjustments.

It doesn't adjust cut or blip time or percentage but rather the voltage the ECU sees. One of the wires on the QS sends a voltage directly to the ECU. It has one value at idle, one for an upshift and one for a downshift. Strain gauges vary the voltage depending on how much force you apply. You can see this with a diagnostic tool. The OEM QS is always the same three values regardless of the force you use. The HM adjustment makes it so whatever force you choose to shift with matches up to the ECU expected value. With the Cordona, it seemed to prefer a light quick touch, whereas I was more forceful with it which led to me preferring the OEM (Domino) QS.
