Duct Tape Grey = Corse Grey

I parked in a safe area of a parking lot at a little brewery and came out to find my mirror arm broken. Luckily the bartender had some duct tape! Worked perfectly and....... I kid you not..... the vibration was nearly gone!

What are some good options to replace these? I don't want to go with bar end mirrors. Thanks!

I’ve seen OEM mirrors on fleabay from time to time. Obviously, dealerships have them but be prepared to pay big bucks. Now might be a good opportunity to upgrade to Rizoma mirrors. The Rizoma mirrors fold so you won’t have to go through this again.

I know you said you don’t want to go bar end and I was hesitant at first but I love the bar end view better. Every time I ride my other bike with normal mirrors I am reminded of how much better I like the bar end mirrors, plus the bar ends don’t vibrate.

The problem with bar end mirrors is that they look like bar end mirrors.

I hate how they dropped the folding feature of the 1199 mirrors going forward.

DB Race mirrors look OK. Don't know if you can see past your elbows though.

I’ve got the carbon DB Race mirrors on my V2. I think they look great... the build quality is excellent... visibility isn’t that great. When wearing summer riding gear it’s pretty easy to see, but when wearing more bulky winter wear it’s a little tougher. I’ve also got a set of CRG Arrow bar ends; the bar ends provide much better visibility, but I just don’t love the look. IMO they’re great on naked bikes, but disrupt the lines on a sport bike.

you can get the short or long arm versions, I suggest the long arms for better vis
