Hi,

I'm Eric from the Netherlands and I ended up here during a lot of google searches.
Got my license in 2013, ran a Monster 796 for about 6k km's in 2013, upgraded to a Monster 1100EVO in 2014 for about 7k km's, traded that for a Streetfighter 848 at the end of last year and got sideswiped by a car less than a thousand km's later.
Pretty sure I would've stayed upright if the Streetfighter had ABS since it was a blink of an eye full on braking because of the car going through a red.
Insurance got it fixed but never got back into synch with it, sad as I still think it was the best looking Ducati I've owned.

Anyhow now I own the 899 you can see below . It was converted to run endurance races, but the owners never got around to it so I got lucky.
Only chance I'm parting ways with it if Ducati rolls out a good looking new Streetfighter 899 :D.

Was already done:
  • 1199S calipers
  • 1199S swingarm conversion
  • 1199S fuel tank
Todo list:
  • 899 fairing, bought for €250 . Waiting on me fitting it.
  • 1199 rear wheel or different full set, still looking.
  • remove racenr stickers, done!
  • 1199S LED headlight, bought for €300 . Connectors and wires waiting for install.
Very maybe:
  • Tricolore wrap
  • 1199 color dash

I love the Dutch people and their liberal society...
The Netherlands is so beautiful also....maybe a bit to many pedal bikes...

We'll a lot of us Dutch people are very okay, but enough are total idiots.
Don't think it's different than any other country. Luckily we still have a lot of credit from the 'old' days :p.
Sadly politics and life are catching up...

Bike still a, cosmetic, work in progress. Gonna get the suspension dialled in for my weight because at the moment it's rather stiff.
Also need to set the controls to my liking. But luckily everything should be done in a day.
Now I just need to find that day...

Can't wait till the 30st, 2 good friends, 3 bikes and 'our' backyard:
