2023 Streetfighter V4 Euro 5 Tuning

I hear you man. I just need to check under the seat. I’ve read conflicting info on this so we shall see.

That’s great info. I thought the only way to tell was the color of the diagnostic port under the seat. Yellow = 4. Red = 5

I’m out of town but looking at pics it seems my bike is euro 4 and it’s a late 2022. Would you agree? Bought 10/27/22 and it was still in the crate that morning.

Definitely a Euro 4.

You're right though, the diagnostics port is another way to identify them.

Not true. I have a 2021 Panigle V4S and the connector is the square red 6-pin and not the yellow flat 4-pin but is EU4.

I'm inclined to think your bike is EU4 based on the rear header, but counting the O2 sensors is a fail safe way of knowing. 2 = EU4 4 = EU5.

I think that was only a US thing since EU standards aren't a thing here. Almost like they were trying to unload EU4 stuff on the only market which would still allow it.

Yes I did that about 3 weeks ago. It’s got just a hair over 3000 miles. I confirmed that mine is Euro 4 despite that i bought it late in the year, 10/27/22 and it had just arrived in the crate a day before.

Hi Stan,
Generally we only tune bikes that we own and ride (street and track). We are about to release an OFT for both Euro 4 and Euro 5 Panigale. Finished all the mapping work a couple weeks ago. Next is Mutistrada v4 which has been in our fleet for nearly two years. Our plan is to offer tuning support for all the Ducati v4 models before adding support for the new Aprilia models. Later this year we also be adding support for the new generation of KTMs (2020 and up).

Hi,
I’m interested in an update on this thread and the tuning of the Streetfighter, I’m running a 2021 Euro 5 with full Akro but might have the option to upgrade to the 2023 bike, I want to transfer my Akro (low slung) png9 the new bike. Have you got a tune to remove/compensate for the O2 sensors etc

I’ve also been bugging them about the service resets. As soon as they get that sorted will pull the trigger.

Information for all, I’ve Just had a conversation with @shiv happens who is pretty confident they can provide an OFT map to work with the 2023 bike and the low slung Akro as it’s not that different from the 2021 Euro 5 map that I’m already running, just needs a few adjustments apparently

I saw the convo on Facebook. To me it sounded like the same thing Ducati did to make the low Akra work on the 22 Pani. Take the old software and cal and put it on the new bike. Make sure you get the software D4A9 which is the MY23 with all latest and greatest features and not the D4A4 which is the old MY21 version.

Thanks for the heads up, I take it that if I send the original map file to the tuner then it’s that file is used to modify into the new tuned map? Sorry if this is a daft question but I’m only just learning all this as I go

All you send to the tuner is some ID data of your bike. The tuner then modifies a local file out of a database to modify and supply the tune. It is possible to use an older tune even on newer bikes with some modifications and even make it look like it is a newer version. This is what Ducati had also done in the past on some bikes but they left it obvious (at least to me  )
