In looking at the dyno graphs Rich posted on the other thread, has anyone with Termi's tried removing their map? I wonder if the added HP is noticeable or if the throttle response becomes crappy?

I'd be very interested in hearing about this one too, full termi... Upmap removed...?

I think the graphs show you what you need to know. On the dyno in a 5th gear run it pulls cleanly and very strong with no up map. With the up map it bogs and misses as it climbs due to the over fuelling.

I wonder if the Up-Map is there to just stroke our egos by displaying "Race" or "Race Evo" on the TFT, all the while it provides ...... fueling hahaha!

I believe it's for anyone that's had the upmap, so that would be slip ons too?

It was done at the dealer, I had heard about it on this forum somewhere, and had to revist my dealer to have it plugged into their computer to turn the service light off, once he done it, he confirmed there was a new download of the upmap, which he wasn't initially aware of.

I think the dealers computers are just logged onto the Ducati network and it all happens automatically to be honest. So worth asking your dealer and if they don't know anything about it, ask them to plug it in and see? Just a suggestion.

Any more information about this new map ?

In what way? From my personal perspective, can't notice that much difference but obviously there must be, but I certainly noticed a slight miss fire type reaction at around 9-10k rpm! Which I was concerned about, and although Rich's test is with the old upmap, mine is with the new and still does it....! So not impressed there, think I may look at reverting to stock mapping and see how that goes with the full Termi....?
