Had bike on the dyno last week.

Full Termignoni system. Up map installed. No baffles in.
MWR HE air filter
MWR adjustment kit. Set at 26mm/15mm
MWR Racing Air Intake.

See attached chart with Air/Fuel ratio.

Base run was on the rich side with this set up.

Used a PCV to tune it.

Where are you mounting the PCV, under the tail ?
The only reason why i'm asking is because my "ride" gps alarm is going under the tail, and i know space is an issue on these bikes..

Just wondering where else would be a good spot to mount a PCV other than the tail....
....under the Seat?

Flabbergasted with the dyno results I'd seen here. I'm only getting 158whp stock and 166whp tuned.

Felt like I'd gotten the 899 instead of the 1199, what's wrong :(

Maybe its the gas where you are or the altitude.Actually those numbers are spot on in some of the magazine tests.

Get on the same dyno as him in the same weather conditions and then see. You can't compare results from two dynos next door to each other, let alone on different days with different air qualities in different countries in different parts of the world with different dyno operators using different brand dynos and bikes with potentially different sprockets/gearing/tire sizes/tire pressures/etc.

In other words, dynos are for tuning. You don't race on them. If you dyno at 160 and he dynos at 190 and you both go to the drag strip and both bikes run 140 MPH then do you really have different power levels?

Does your bike suck to ride? If you don't dyno it do you know it measures 160? It feels like a middleweight? Just enjoy it, there are better things to worry about.

Great advice!
