Dyno run - first time! - SC Project

Hey guys,

So last night we had a Ducati event here in Vegas and they were doing free dyno runs sponsored by Dynojet... I've never had a bike dynoed before...

It was (I'm guessing) a quick run, nothing fancy or nothing too "serious".. nothing plugged in to the bike... just strapped down and gas it!

Anyway, my '13 1199 (base/ABS) pulled 183rwhp (there was a guy with a full termi exhaust on his 1199 and he pulled 177.6, RSV pulled 167, BMW RR 181.9.... and of course a guy with an H2 that pulled like 210 or 220 -dont remember the exact number- lol. There were about 30+ bikes and mine was in the top 3 or 4)

My mods are SC Project CR-T, K&N air filter and Rexxer ECU flash.... Is 183 decent for this quick/fun run??? Just curious.. I dont really care too much about this, I just like to enjoy my bike and ride it!

Cheers!

EDIT: Video coming soon

Wish I could've been there :'( my bike is down at the moment. Was hoping to be able to make it. How was the event?

It was awesome man.... lots of people and bikes!!! I think they will do it every 1st Thursday!

there will always be someone for calling you a crybaby since it only put down 183 :D

Lol... I wonder who that would be? Maybe somewhere in Florida!

Panigale 1199 rocks ... mine all original passed at the dyno and marked 312km/h.

I love that sound. I would probably consider getting the sc project if my Anniversario didn't come with akras. If there was a way to core out akras/termis to sound like that, that would be perfect! Problem is no one wants to tear apart their $4k mufflers

I hear ya!!! it's not easy to mess or experiment with a 4k exhaust :p

Speaking of which, I happen to have a second Akra I am planning to core out. Has anybody done this before? I would love to see some pictures (other than what Akra provides in their repacking instructions) if anybody has gotten the cans apart before.

We had another Bike night at the Ducati dealership here in Vegas and Dynojet was doing free runs again...

For the hell of it I tried it again, numbers improved a couple hp at the wheel... and this time I was able to snap a pic of the dyno screen

rwhp: 185.12

My bike was in the top 3 (ZX14 first, BMW second - I believe there's a typo in the pic below, the BMW was an RR, not and R)

This picture was taken right after my bike pulled the numbers, then about other 10 bikes were dynoed but none got higher hp's. Fun night!
