I'm not an expert on dynos, but so far all dyno graphs I've ever had, flat spots in torque can be seen in power as well. To my mind unusable power curve, too much smoothening. They should show AFR as well and compare that to torque -> maybe find out the reason for flat spots.

And more so, because you're saying it is a race bike. The smoother torque is, more usable it is where it counts. Flat at 7k, open there and open more because torque is flat, then suddenly at 7,8k power surge... Luckily there is quite good DTC.

The short history on the bike. Has about 3000km and I purchased . I put on a set of forward exit FM Project exhausts, the hi flow MWR filter , a set of o/size intake tubes and the self tuning Rapid Bike module. I did a 2 hour ride in my local hills , and to be honest the bike has way to much power to use on the curved roads i ride. So I dont think the auto tune had a fair run especially 8000rpm upwards to tune . I thought the power delivery was quite seamless, and throttle response instant. I have 2 days at Phillip Island booked for next week , there are a few spots there were I can open it up !

What I was really trying to say was , I interested how well the autotune can do its job without manually adjusting on the dyno . After a few rides, yes I will take it back and cleen up the dips , so I think the 1299 has huge potential . My previous race bike was a 1098s (159hp) , still have an EBR 1190RX (176hp) all on the same dyno .

After a manual tune with a full akrapovic, Sprint P08 filter, lighter wheels and a 520 chain conversion, mine did 202 at the wheel. There is a fair bit more to gain up top :)

Must be a beast on the track ! Lighter wheels are on my wish list , what would you recommend? Need something serviceable , swapping tires frequently.

Get back to us after Phillip Is. Cheers
