Hi everyone

From south-eastern Québec, signed up for a base model in November.
Only regret is that I let go of my old Hyper already, was told a late March delivery was certain.....
The 1199 will see 50% street and 50% track.

Any planned upgrades for your 1199 to help with the split street/track use?

How many miles did you have on your Hyper when you let it go?
 
Hear those Marzocchis are quite decent, I think a TTX will do for my abilities and performance-wise, I think we'll be in business right out of the box.
That rear hugger will have to go, that's about it. Had full exhaust on the Hyper, but here in Québec that's a 100$ fine everytime you get pulled over,

I went nuts with my Hyper S and over the years ended up adding about eveyting there is. Come resale time and you get about a nickel to the dollar for all the goodies.
Had a lot of fun with that bike, clocked 18k km, and if I had the money, I'd've kept her, but the poor thing was just too tame and even if I'd thrown heaps of money at her, 130hp would have been the best one could hope for.

The thing is, I do most of my riding with my little brothers (RC8R & SF), no need to mention who closed up the rear, situation that needed to be addressed.

oui , j'ai hate , je vais avoir le premier 1199 S à Montréal
 
Moi aussi je suis du Qc, j'aimerais bien mettre la mains sur une 1199. Pensez vous que chez Monette sport j'aurais de la chance de m 'en procurer une si je laisse un dépot pour la réserver?

I'm almost a bit bummed now, tried to save some money by ordering a base model to find out that I won't get it until June. Yours will probably be here by the end of the month.

Dealers are very tight lipped about how many bikes they are allowed, all I know is that early numbers have been been cut.

When did you sign your's?
 
Ordered the S version at the Montreal motoshow and was told 3 weeks later I was not going to get it.
I started to phone call all over the country and finally ended to a dealer telling me he still had one that he was suppose to keep for himself but decided to leave it to me. I got an e-mail from Ducati saying That the wait should not be long anymore and they were going to keep me updated.

J'ai signé la mienne à Sherbrooke. Ma Hyper venait de Québec, sont gentils là-bas mais c'est loin en svp.
Pensez-vous de venir faire du circuit? J'alterne entre Mirabel et St-Eustache et une ou deux fois par année à Calabogie.

I heard Monette had 12 bikes only...between base, S and Tri.
When I asked, back in November, they were all sold..!
I found mine in Sherbrooke also...
 
Je n'ai jamais fait de circuit. Je ne crois pas être assez à l'aise sur la machine pour faire du circuit. ( Trop vieux peut-être ) Hahaha

I spoke with Jimmy at Sherbrooke and he was very nice and I would have loved to buy from them but I could not get one before 2013.
I ended buying one in New Brunswick.
