ECU location

Hi peeps
I gotta pull the ECU module outa my V2 to send for a flash(mods ect).
Is it the unit under the seat or elsewhere ?

HOW TO: Remove your ECU.

How easy is it to remove the ECU? Can someone please post a "how to" guide on how to remove the ECU :confused: This would especially help for ECU flashing. Thanks dearly.. :o

the 2 is slightly different. the inner most panel has two ball/rubber grommet towards the rear after the two front allens are removed.

it's always wise pull your battery leads (negative first and last)

Thanks guys, I'll be on this within 24 hours....lol
I bought an SLR handheld programmer, but alas no proper inter- connector to be found. So I'll ship the ECU to SLR and insure each way for 5k.
Im starting the mods now cuz this dude is lean af !!
As ya'll suggest, battery will be removed first, ( new lithium on deck).
Wish me luck please, Im a home built Honda CRF's mechanic, as well own 2 CRF's, 1 RC51, and 1 RoadKing.

Hi All,

Recently purchased a 2024 V2 and just wanted to confirm if the ECU is definitely located underneath the battery.
I'm in the similar situation of flashing my ECU which requires removal and to be sent away via postage.
