Hey guys, I searched around but got confused. When I bought my 2014 1199R used it came with the Termignoni full system in a box from the previous owner. I bought it from a dealership who had it on consignment so I never met the owner. One thing he neglected to provide was the up map stick for the full system. I just installed the full system and I'm waiting for my rapidbike race to arrive. Now what puzzles me as I did more research, is that my ecu says "racing EVO" upon startup. I've read that is the up map for the full system. When I ordered the rapidbike race they asked me if I had the stock ecu settings or the full up map already installed. Apparently it makes a difference. Could someone run the stock pipes on the full system ecu? Help!

the dongle locks the map saved in the ecu. or unlocks it.

if you don't have the dongle, you can't change it.

however, the RB race will adapt to the baseline, whatever it is... no matter the exhaust system...

Right, I guess that's what I'm asking. Would it have been possible that the previous owner unlocked the full system map even without the full system installed? Wouldn't that make the bike run like crap?

If it says racing evo the map is loaded for the termi.

Ok cool. Well I'm sure my bike must have not been running right previously then. I wondered why I didn't get any dash lights after removing the servo motor and valve. Have you guys all ditched your evap canister? I'm looking into that now as my buddy said these bikes have hot start issues.

The evo map is set up for having the bs servo removed for the full system. Remove the evap canister immediately. It helps with the hot start issues.

Its just the side fairing

Yes but just the side fairing after lying on the garage floor all weekend to install everything may put me at my limits!!! [emoji13]. My hands and arms hurt as bad as they did 10 weeks ago when I got hit by an SUV!!!!

Anyone know if the engine options are supposed to change after the upmap on the full system? Bike has options for 195hp high and low but isn't the system supposed to push her over 200 ponies?

They do not change. It is simply pre-programmed menu language options which have no correlation to actual horsepower figures your bike is producing. It really has more to do with throttle sensiitivty from 195 Hi to 195 LO. Only the 120 setting reduces actual engine output.

Good to know! Anyone think the rapidbike race will be worth the upgrade now that I know I have the full Termi Map installed on the bike?

Without a single doubt yes.. Think of it as a miniature corse tech sitting inside your ecu changing stuff on the fly for you when you ride.. Would that be a worthy upgrade?
