End bar mirrors?

I like the paper mirrors. The bars end mirrors just don't look right to me. Yes I broke one already and I complained to my dealer and Ducati. Sadly no one responded. We should all complain to Ducati. I shouldn't have to replace the factory mirrors because they were designed to fail. We're spending our own money to fix a ...... product. Why do owners just suck it up and deal with it?
 
I don't want to tell you about this other awesome mirror block-off plate with integrated turn signal because he produces limited quantities and is currently out of stock and will be in stock soon and I want to get my hands on them ASAP...
BUT I will be nice anyway (haha) and and hope that not too many people see this just yet :p . There are some really good-looking and high quality ones, including a killer tail tidy from Futurismoto.com

He seems to be a one-man shop and does billet aluminium stuff that looks like it could have come from the factory. Check it out. I think he is taking orders again on 6 August (please leave a set for me haha).

I ordered the silver block off plates from Futurismoto 2 weeks ago. Hope it gets shipped out soon. Love the look!

I JUST missed the deadline to order before he disabled the buy button. You must have just got in in time. Lucky! I am not sure whether to go silver (more inconspicuous) or black (more accent).

I went with the silver because it looked the closest with the factory block offs.

Mine got shipped about a week ago so hopefully it will arrive this week.

Hope the site reactivate the "buy" button soon.
 
I have the silver and they look amazing. Can't recommend they highly enough. The quality is superb.

Ddd269 did you reuse your stock bar end when mounting the crg? If so, how?

If you have a lathe guy around you, just buy some stainless steel rod of the appropriate size and have him machine some for you. That's exactly what I did. You can then powder coat them, depending on the color you want.
 
My bar ends fit along with the crg mirror. The bar end squeezes the mirror so it wont come off

The other bar end I've found that will work is a RhinoMoto one. Works with CRG mirrors. More expensive though, but subjectively may look better to some, if that's a concern to you.

I have rhino bar ends with crg blindsight mirrors on both my Streetfighter and MV Agusta F3. Nice an weighty, looks good.

No they are not, the 1199/1299 ones are threaded inside, the V4 ones are a sliding tension retainer, therefore the inside diameter's are different (smaller on the 1199/1299)

My 1199 Bar end mirrors did not fit the V4 because of this
