So I just got the bike repaired after endoing it almost two months ago. Looks great, get it done at 10 P.M. and load the truck up. Roll to the track, get there midnight and wake up at 6. All excited, go for my outlap and 50 feet into it I realize the bike won't rev past 6k. Bike putters for the next 3 miles and my day is done.

I have tuneboy and I am not sure how to read the errors with it?

Error on dash says UNK-D. Google tells me next to nothing. Only thing that really changed is I got a custom dyno tune with Tuneboy. I had to plug the speed sensor back in since they forgot, but maybe they forgot something else as well?

Here is a video of what it sounds/acts like. If it isn't clear, I was WOT the whole time in that video.

Also threw some photos of the complete bike for your viewing pleasure!

Control unit not acknowledged by the system - wrong SW

do you think that could be wrong software?

I think a dying battery could cause the problem. if you're going to replace it anyway go for it . eliminate that possibility and go from there

Funny enough, I went to the dyno shop today and asked some questions. The tech said, it worked when I left (although the speed sensor was unplugged and I don't know how it would not work since it failed the first time I fired it up). I showed them the video and they mentioned that they did think it was odd the bike had an 1199 map, but they went with it anyway...

:confused::confused::confused:

Long story short, I asked for the trim file and will upload an 899 map and the trim file and see how it goes.

Appreciate the help.

I also had very strange behaviour with the battery voltage dropped below 11.5V, but dash reported then CAN bus error.

BTW: Your 899 crash is awesome!!!
