Removed my Evap. Plugged the vacuum line with a bolt and the clamp.
At idle I’m getting an usual crackle out of a cylinder. I haven’t reattached the Evap to see if that makes it go away. All I can think is the vacuum plug isn’t sufficient ?

It won’t allow me to attach a video.

Open to thoughts as I wait for it to cool down

Thx

I haven’t experienced any crackling, just a gas smell occasionally after a ride. Make sure the hoses are not mis-connected.

Thanks. I marked them prior to canister removal. I did go buy a better stainless cap screw and washer to be sure it’s plugged well. Seemed a bit better? I’ll ride it tomorrow.

I also seal mine with a bit of black silicone on the outside of the screw and let it sit up for a few days before starting the motor. Never had crackling. Hope you find the cause.
