EVAP modification - adding solenoid valve

I want to add an electric solenoid to the evap canistor line that vents to throttle body. I want to avoid the hard starts I get after bike sits in sun. I initially had the charcoal canister deleted but fuel was spilling onto my body work and creating a strong odor. I do wheelies and ride aggressively enough that the stock evap setup gets saturated even though I never overfill the fuel tank.
Newer bikes use an electric solenoid to close off the line to the throttle body when engine isn't running so I have purchased one from a newer ducati model. I just need to power the solenoid from a source that supplies power after engine fires up. In thinking headlights, since they only turn on fully when engine fires up and not just when ignition is on.
Anyone think this is a good idea? Any advice is appreciated. Might be something I have not considered that would make this a bad idea? Attaching picture of solenoid I plan on using.

Anyone know the wiring for the 1199S LED headlight? I have the wiring diagram but from my research it looks like there is no relay, instead it is controlled via CAN bus? Any ideas on how to apply 5V to the solenoid after the engine has started running?

a reed relais, parasitic powered from the headlight current, could trigger a transistor that triggers the valve.
or better a thyristor that stays open until you stop the engine.
just one idea.
