This thing is quality, very well engineered. Takes some intuition to put it together as the instructions aren’t very good. I wasn’t going to upgrade to LED turn signals but I may have to now. The stock still look pretty good but just too big. Only downside is you’ll have to disassemble the whole kit to pull the lights.

Only pieces you scavenge from the old kit are the mounting bolts under the tail, wiring harness and lights.

DMV closed indefinitely so I’ll be rockin the temp tag for a while.

In the states you will have to figure out how to mount the plate...the supplied brackets definitely do not work.IMG_20200529_191003.jpg

OK one thing about this setup that was bothering me - notice how none of the photos seen so far show the lights on? Here is what it looks like:IMG_20200606_080935.jpg

In my opinion the rear facing white LED (visible to other drivers) was unacceptable. Luckily this is easily remedied - but it does require hand fitment.

Remove the bolts and 3mm spacers holding the plate light. Use a big adjustable "crescent" wrench to bend the tab down - one side at a time - taking care to bend the middle of the tab as well, which will want to stay in place. The plate bends pretty easily, so easy does it.I

Once the tab is adjusted, "Surprise!" the light will not fit. No problem get out the file and relieve the corner of the LED housing near the threaded inserts.

I also reduced the plastic spacers from 3mm down to 2.5mm with a file. This may be unnecessary depending on how much the bracket was bent, relief on the LED housing, etc.
