Just purchased my fender eliminator, however no installation instructions provided. Wanted to know if anyone had a DIY on it or provide any help. While im sure its to complicated I wanted to see if any cutting is involved. I was told its plug and play but it doesn't seem to be that way. Thnx in advance

It's not plug-n-play if you decide to use the provided licence plate light. I took a pass on that tiny light and reused my stock licence plate light. This required me to fab up a small bracket to mount it, but I got to keep my DOT light and not hack up any wiring harnesses.

Yeah. The guy who did mine needed to cut wires and connect them to the stock harness. Hope these instructions help. Overall, I'm really happy how it turned out. Good luck.

Never fails. Vendors sell what cost them $12 for $160, but can't be bothered to include instructions. And if instructions are included, they suck, like the ones above. Perhaps they only have a copy machine from 1985 and a Sharpie?

One more reason to do it yourself to begin with.

The instructions on their website are pretty clear, if I recall correctly, adapting the wiring harness for the new license plate light is 2 wires (turn signals, if using OEM are plug in) If you don't have the tools / experience to cut and add required connectors or solder, I suggest paying someone to do it, as a friend of mine found out, trying yourself and blowing fuses is much more of a pain in the arse.
