So, tonight I fitted the Evotech tail tidy. A fairly easy job.

My question is for others that have fitted one, how did you route your indicator cables?

Did you feed them through the rubber grommet to where the toolkit is; did you shorten them; or something else?

Al.

It's a very tight fit but I just squeezed them all together under the tail tidy. The only wire I cut was for the plate light.

took tool kit out, put wires in that space. The tool kit is now sitting just under rear cowl, seems to work ok without chopping indicator wires.

cheers

Yeah, tucked them past the rubber gromet into the tool kit area. I was able to roll the toolkit very tightly like a tight burrito, and managed to fit the kit in there with the wires too. Takes practice, but it worked!

Can anyone please post pics? Am about to buy the DPP tail tidy but if the Evotech one looks better will go this way.

Thanks

Same here.

The only thing you have to watch for is the wires or toolkit sitting against the cowl lock. Make sure you still hear the "click".

Very happy with it!

A definite improvement.

I do need to order up another rear plate and decide on position. I feel it's a little high just now.

I installed the R and G racing Tail Tidy and changed to led mini signals so I had to cut the wires on the turn sigs and the license illuminator. wires and resistors fit under the rubber under the cowl. It was tough getting it all in there but it worked and the toolkit still fits in. What a great look. I used Barracuda Freccia turn signals they are approx the same shape as the tailights. AWESOME!
