I recently gutted the exhaust on what I think was a 1299. Had the exhaust and cat all in one piece. It went really well and the rider was super pleased with the outcome, not too loud with a good sound. The close up is done with SS filler wire tig welded so it’s a clean look. Also delete the exhaust valve, remove and close the void. PM me if you’re interested in having this done to yours. I’ll send pics.
