Fan Control Temp Adjust

Easily Fixed - just put a decent radiator & oil cooler on your bike e.g H20 or mac. OEM radiators are cheap crap.

Maybe you can explain how you run the fan with that setup because even if you order a custom MAC like I did with no crossover pipe on the lower you will never cool the the water adequately as the fan pulls through the oil cooler which does nothing to cool the rad fluid. I know this because I tried the first MAC water/oil that retained the stock fan. H2O SBK radiators, you cant run the fan at all and you can't use the stock shroud which heads you down the road of a lot of customization. You can run the MAC upper but your not running an oil cooler with that setup. So best case scenario is MAC upper and MAC all water thick core lower (custom order which is what I have now) run a block off plate after you throw the heat exchanger in the trash can and lower the fan temp at the ECU to 80. Done. Next best thing is the MAC upper, stock lower and follow the aforementioned procedures. Please don't tell guys to go and throw a water/oil radiator setup on a street bike. That just bad information.

Yeah these guys running the oil/water setup with the MAC or H2o have no idea what kind of ...... up setup they have with that mess. Too much testing has gone into the block off plate setup with shroudless fan setup with early can kick on (Woolrich) and stock rads with all water. The temps are exactly where they need to be so definitely no bs that's for sure.

I used a fan from a multistrada and centrally mounted it with some small aluminium brackets. Half of fan pulls through water section, half through the oil lower. I don't know how effective it would be for a street bike in stop start traffic, but it works fine when endurance racing where you can be stuck circulating at 50km/h in a safety car situation for 15-20 minutes. With the bike standing still, the fan can hold the water temp and cuts in and out as normal. It manages all this with a closed oil pan too, where air circulation is quite impeded.
I am in northern europe though, so ambient temps are on my side.
