fault code on removing the electronic suspension

I want to remove my stock suspension and disconnect the electronic setup . Has anyone done this and what all does it effect. Thanks in advance for any advice
 
The is a company in the UK bike sport development that sells a resistor kit that keeps the dash happy. It basically tells the system something is there so you can run conventional suspension.
