No not a Panigale too. Ha, ha.

I am glad you guys in the US get their bikes too. This bike is top. Try the race seat, it is a lot better. And buy the DP higher windscreen, which is the same as in Superstock 1000 bikes. And Termis.

Last saturday was my wifes birthday. She didn't know what was waiting in the sun room.

Buga ... that's reset the bar a tad higher ...

And I was going to get my missus a cordless drill and impact driver for her birthday :(

Congrats!

Fully agree

That Monster looks superb and the angle of the shot of the Panigale shows delectable detail.

That's an ideal pick of 2 Ducs.

As other's have said ... wish my wife would take up riding. But I shouldn't complain as she's a willing pillion :D

You all thought I didn't dare. Breakfast at castle Daelenbroeck we stayed last time. Sorry it is out of focus.

All very nice indeed. I had to talk my wife out of riding. She already has her license (from the MSF basic course). But she's not the most coordinated and doesn't have the fastest reactions either, and Fayetteville, NC is not the safest place to learn. If we could ever get stationed out in the western US (more space, less crowded, better cage drivers, imo), I will get her a bike (the Monster would be ideal, but probably a 250 to start out on). Until then, I might try and pick up a used 600 or a 250 dual-purpose for riding her around on, I just don't like 2-up on Duc super bikes.

BTW, why don't you Europeans cook your bacon! :) They do the same thing down here in S.America!

Convinced my wife to start out on a Can-Am Spyder with a semi-auto tranny.

A bit more expensive but way safer than a bike.

I have mulled over that option too and would stay it's still a strong contender. The thing looks fun, although as you mentioned, there is more up front cost involved.

Got my wife the Monster 696 - perfect starter bike and she can get both feet on the ground and she is only 5'2

She is 6ft so an 1100 EVO would the best choice for her.

@jjmontesanto. The bacon was baked, like you do. ;)

Congratulations nice pair of bikes, I asked my wife once if she would like to learn to ride and she responded
"when skiing you are waiting for me down at the bottom for 30 mins what do you think it would be like if I was riding a bike" fair point the ski run is only 2 mins:D she is happy to be a pillion on the K13S
