I conducted my first do it yourself oil change (2700 miles) after the first oil change at the dealer (Northern Colorado Powersports) at 625 miles 11 months ago. IMHO, the upper radiator fairing replacement was the hardest part. I wanted to send a thank-you to everyone that posts their advice, feedback with all facets of maintenance, gear, riding experiences, etc. It certainly helped this newbie (I have rode dirt bikes my whole life though) today! I also have a full Akrapovic system installed, I let the dealer handle that one. All the best.
