first motorcycle that yanked your arms off?

I've ridden a lot of bikes that felt fast as hell, but the one that felt like it was gonna rip my arms off was the first time I opened up a BMW S1000rr.

Sorry I know it's the competition, but when that thing came out it made my 1198 feel like a tractor.

Now with the 1199 though, it's not such a noticeable difference.

I always have felt this bike is more of a never ending gathering of pace rather than a yanking action... and its fugly too:D

As a kid it was my first rodeo on a CR80 when the power band kick in during a desperate attempt to escape a dog that was chasing and biting my ...!

As of now... the Panigale tops my arm pulling chart.

Very much like Bronch.....a Honda 50 when I was twelve (and fell off of really screwing up my face), and probably the Panigale here at a much older age given the throttle/power/weight ratio.

For me it was when I bought my new 1983 Honda 1100F. For a short time it was the fastest bike sold - and quite a lot faster than the 750F I had and raced. I raced them both one day at Texas World. The pull off the corners was so much faster than the 750 I was grinning ear to ear.

I dunno at least on the 2010 with the lighter flywheel and such once you hit 10K rpm it felt like it wanted to tear your arms out. All in perspective I guess.

1991 Yamaha FJ1200. That could give the sports bikes a run for their money in the right hands!

my tricycle when I was 4. I was a badass and can pedal real fast. I cant really remember but Pani sure did few times.

Arm strain in both directions when I moved up from a Kawasaki 250 S1C (drum brakes back and front) to a Kawasaki Z1000H (discs all round) in 1980. First fuel injected Kawasaki iirc, and just stunning in black and gold.

1098S. Up until this machine I could still have one finger resting and ready on the brake and clutch levers under WOT. No more!. Worse with the 1198S. Worse still with the R once it hits the zone. Knees aren't doing the job well enough...

1985 CR500 stroked or bored or whatever to around 600....couldn't even kickstart it, it was a leg breaker. Wasn't mine, went to look at a kawasaki 125 and the guy let me ride this beast. It wheelied while idling.

the first bike that yanked my hands off is the Ducati Diavel. Prior that I had an 848 , the bike was fast but it did not yank my hand. I also had a three wheeled scoot , did not yank anything.

Everything changed when I opened the diavel's throttle. that 1198 engine is really something. it will beat my Panigale R in the low rev range .
