Hi guys

A bit of advice on the timing of my running in service. I collected my Tricolore 10 days ago and so far i have managed 800 km (it has been pissing down with rain for the last 6 weeks in Toulouse). My service is on Friday and due to work/weather i do not think i will have done more than 850 km (vs the 1000 km for the service). Is this an issue? For info, if i miss the service on Friday i have to wait 1 month for the next free slot!

Cheers

Lee

Well when the bike requires service at 1000km, a light on the dash pops up. You might need to go back to the dealer and get them to reset this light.

I am sure you can do the service a few miles early with no problems.

Ditto what EvoL said. You will have to take it back to the dealer to have the service light reset. It won't hurt anything at all to have it done early.

I have the opposite problem. My first service is on Saturday and I have done 1,300 km with the bike, cannot stop riding. My dealer is 100 km away so I guess I have to stop riding now. I had to top up the oil at 700 km, I was surprised how much oil this thing burns when new.

Just had the 1K service done today with 1240km on the clock. No issues with dealer. Got the service done for free cos they put the wrong frame number on my papers after cocking up my name twice. Happy days!
