First trackday on my 1299

I actually looked at the times and lap record there . Reganc's post of him getting pissy pricked my interest . I see Josh Hayes runs a 46 on a 600 out there so I see no reason a 57 is out of the question .
I actually lapped there doing a 1:50 .

1:50 on a 600 or a liter bike? Either ways, thats some serious pace...any videos to back that up? Lol....just yanking on yer chains, haha

It was on a 250 twin with a foul plug .My mate was timing me but I think he lost count .

Cheers and I still have that buzz from yesterday, so not getting a ton of work done, this Monday.. :D

We rode right past the track while you were out there, missed ya that day brother.

We were riding from Auburn to Fortuna taking 36 to the coast, had a buddy take us out and around that way on a damned goat trail just to add miles lol :D

Did see a white and red 899 or 848 Mon evening on our way home somewhere near there within 100 miles lol

Didn't do a track day but did 700 miles in 2 days with a 150 miles over 100mph lol and 40 miles of rain/drizzle riding.

Jeez, you bunch are tough.. :D I'm keeping my mouth shut until I can produce video footage.. I guess pics or it didn't happen is a REAL Internet rule.

On a different note, MMC's 2015 "R" will be getting all fixed up at my local dealership, after his little "off" this weekend; I hope he heals up quickly. Many thanks to Matt at Marin Speedshop for taking MMC's bike back down to San Rafael for a checkup and some new bodywork AND for having a complete quickshifter at the track, to replace my bent one.

Matt, thanks for the fun and the company...

nah you keep posting what you post. You cant make everyone happy and some people would just claim you doctored the photo anyway.

We who have known you for a long time, are not questioning you. Nor have you been known to exaggerate.

Keep the rubber side down is all I have to say. :p

That's the fun part. :D

My best friend taught me win or loose, best fried or enemy, when it comes to racing you put the bars in on the guy next to you.

Bars in=== speedway/flatrack thing where you lean in on the guy next to you at the starting live to screw with his head to get the jump on him to the first corner. A little more of a contact sport then these bikes :p

We still play that game no matter what were doing in life. I guess were a wee bit competitive.

If they don't want to believe you, screw them ;)
