Make sure your not mixing coolants, when changing coolant type you should be using distilled water between coolant flushing.
I replaced mine with red coolant from nulon which matches the factory pink coolant.
Once you have filled the radiator run the bike with the rad cap off until the fan comes on, turn bike off.
Check for leaks especially on the left side near thermostat/water pump
Once cooled top the radiator back up and over flow bottle.
But bike back together
