Anyone any experience of the fm projects exhaust?? If so would live to hear your views on fit finish and possibly dyno results. Cheers

The heat shielding is much more compact [under the seat]. I presume this exhaust does not give off as much heat as other aftermarket full exhaust. Looks nice, sounds pretty good.

I am using this system on the 1199S. Mounted it over the winter. There were minor instances of aggression required to pull everything in place and I needed to use some washers to keep distance from the Bonamici rearsets. All worked out fine though. I am yet to install the appropriate electronics and haven't done a dyno yet. It is definitely much louder than OEM. I think FM Projects are great value for their price.

Thanks. Sounds good. Are you happy with the appearance of the system in the bike?
Does it feel any different , power delivery in the midrange?? [emoji106]

I like the looks very much! It is less "elegant" than an Akra but that is exactly to my liking. My bike is "raw" one if you want to put it in any category and the FM style suits perfectly. As I said, no electronics to match and no dyno yet. I am tracking only and switched to the 1199 from R6 and 999. After a dozen or so trackdays I am still getting used to the power delivery overall. Honestly, I would be lying if I said I feel the difference from OEM, but I did get 2 seconds faster on the Hungaroring immediately compared to last year. If the exhaust plays a part in that I cannot tell.

Sorry about the size of the picture:

Love the colour scheme.
Well if your times are improved it certainly hasnt hurt the power delivery anyway.
Thanks again.
Mines road only ATM, 1299, and have modified standard system internally with a rapid bike module. Dyno results were good but I like to tinker and will fit a system, probably fm soon. :))

I have FM Evo6 (forward exit) on mine. Rapid Bike (race) and belts out 192rwhp and 97ft/lb.
Dyno is quite true to the numbers as all my other bikes have been accurate to realistic readings.

Thanks for the reply. Good numbers. Always good to be well informed before making a choice. Definitely the fm projects is looking like the one[emoji106][emoji106]

Love the colour scheme.

Funny you say that :) But feels good! In fact I just didn't bother about decoration too much: it is the raw matte black finish of the track body work with 20,- USD worth of tricolore adhesive stripes from MotoXP, plus the yellow start number.
