Has anyone had to replace their front fork due to a issue with not having the proper rebound? i just got mine serviced and they said they are ordering me a new fork.

Was the first case on record for DNA. Went through 4 sets.

No worries for you now because the issue is fixed, went 10000 km on the last set and still as good as new.

i knew there must have been something up or it was me slamming down wheelies. it kinda sucks though because im trying not to ride it untill its fixed.

Naahhh, you've got nothing to do with it. My first time it got asked a few questions about tying down and such (which I had done quite a bit of ), but the bike got fixed pronto.

I'm no expert in suspension, so what are some symptoms of this problem that I should look out for?

Just push down on the front end of the bike hard. If it pogos up n down then that's no good. If it bounces back to its original spot immediately then that's how it's supposed to be.

Sadly Its common, for the base models

Had a buddy who had the same problem on the Base model's Marzocchi forks.
Was bouncy no matter how much Rebound or compression Damping was done as adjustment...

Dealer had it repaired....so far so good...
