Hi Guys,

Just bought a 2012 1199S Tricolore and I have noticed that the front left turn signal is not working. The bike has Rizoma mirrors on it, so i figured there was an issue with the mirror, however, I tested the mirror with a spare car battery I had laying around it lights up no problem. I used a volt meter on the wiring to the left mirror and it's not getting any voltage when activated. The rear left signal works, it just blinks fast. I have searched and found some threads on turn signal issues, but it typically seems to be one entire side goes out (both front and rear). Does anyone have any ideas what to look into at this point?

Attached a couple pics of the bike since I'm new. Love it so far, just working out a few kinks from the previous owner.

Thanks,
Evan

Hi there, nice pictures.
There was a TSB recall for issues on this model for malfunctioning handlebar switch.

Maybe the fix has never been implemented on your bike?

Easy, and free of charge.
It's a very small black brick (halve the size of a matchbox) that needs to be installedin the nose fairing where it connects to the left upper fairing.

Yep TSB, just had mine done too. Get it done before the rest fails, all your menu buttons will fail.
TSB 881 is the bulletin.
