True, I tried that for a couple of months. Track only race bike, didn't last long... Unfortunately, I seem to crash a lot more at the track lol.

Are they anal there?
I actually got pulled over after posting on my way to work. 61 in a 50. Second time I got pinged here, second time I didn't get a ticket. He said nice bike and asked where I got it. Said nothing about the lack of mirrors or signals... (The other guy didn'ttold me to watch out for deer when I got pulled over the 1st time here for 85 in a 55.)
Ha!
Being ticketed for 47 in a 45 is not uncommon on HWY 2.....or being ticketed for missing reflectors. Then again, we're talking about one of the most dangerous roads in the country, hence the patrols.
It does make for great riding though.
Here is the signals I used and where they are mounted. Watson Design SP Style
I have one CRG mounted on the left side stock bar end. I had a machine shop machine the groove into the bar end.
Who makes the bar end signals? CRG? Tons of people in CA remove stock mirrors because we have to split traffic in LA. Tust me, I don't want to drive around with no signals.....jut wondering if it was even an option.
Originally posted by rocdoc: Anyway, about your dilemma, Moto wheels (Sacramento, California), sells bar end signals. That's what I'm doing on my bike. I believe it's safer than any other option, including the stock mirror turn signals, because you can see the blinker from both front and rear, and they stick out farther than anything on the bike. Visibility.
That's exactly what I want to do. Did you do it yourself Or have a local shop here do it? Speaking about the flushmounted signals? Also, thanks for the Moto wheels referral
