Full Termigoni forward exhaust

Hi all, Have a 1299S 2017, just installed a full Termigoni, question to any who have done this. In the kit is a black metal panel, shaped like it goes under bike, but there are no directions on it in instructions? Any clue?

toss it in the trash . installed same system on my R , there's no use for that piece . i think it is used on 959 and 899
