Purchased a new V4S Panagale in 2019 and bought the full Akra lower system PN 96481502A with the purchase.
The complete system is on my purchase agreement receipt listed as an option and part of the full purchase price.
I have just installed the system and desire to:
1) Have another dealer do the download/tune,
2) Gear position GPS learn as I installed a new Novotech Hi Temp GPS, thereby replacing the original Novotech. Doing this preemptively.
3) Extinguish service light.
I also have the original box with matching Dealership/Shipping and address markings and an SAP Code and another Code number S-D11E3-xxx/x.
Questions:
1) With all of the nanny controls, am I going to have any issues?
2) Who (Dealership and Ducati North America or whoever else) is supposed to do what to make this happen?
3) I understand that it is best to not start or power up the bike with the exhaust servo and fuel vapor purge valve disconnected as it can make it a little more difficult to Map the ECU. Throwing CEL's
I am in Florida and to use the bike on the track and static display purposes only.
I am hoping I can produce the bike to the dealer without fairings so as, upon start-up, they can burp cooling system and check for any possible inconsistencies before final assembly. I would like to re-install the upper and new lower fairings myself.
Any other advice or insight?
