Pinwheel, if you're feeling the heat, then you are not riding fast enough. I find that the heat goes down when I ride faster.
'Funny, I feel the heat more around 40 - 70 mph, just when you'd think the surrounding air would move the heat away, not funnel it towards you... But of course, the engine is also generating more heat the higher in the rpm range you go....
As for it being a "200+ hp bike, so you will surely feel the heat," that's nonsense. Several other bikes make this type of horsepower and they don't all have an uncomfortable level of heat transferred to the rider. In our case, its just the design of the engine, exhaust, and fairing, etc., that do.
