Hi, looking for some geometry set up numbers please. Ive lost my base settings , installed Mupo cartridge and shock, as well as a longer chain and 41 rear sprocket ......without a rear height tool . I've suspended my bike with tires just touching the floor etc. and looking for swing arm pivot height , trail , and maybe swing arm angle . Did the above modifications with out adjusting the rear ride hieght and had some awful track days , wheel standing and understeering because I have 110mm trail ??? , because rear ride height to low.
If some one has some numbers for the 1299 (-4mm set lower already than 1199), for the swingarm pivot, and at 96mm trail I can get a base number to set my rear ride height .

On my 14R

I swapped to the -.5° rake setup.. 1 full degree from the 1299

-4 swingarm position

28mm offset triples from the stock 30mm

I tune ride height based on rear grip (tc data)

Things are really going to depend on what Spring rate you are using as well . I have the same set up and it works really well for me .
With saying thatI would not what to confused the situation too much but I don't mess with rear ride height too much either .
My rear shock is currently measures 307 mm from eye to eye with forks 14 mm from top of triples running standard offset .
Have you tried some different rear springs ? You might want to try the next spring up or try a little pre load in the rear shock .
Suspension advice on the internet is really tricky just try some different adjustments take notes and see if anything improves but go small on your adjustment nothing too big .
The Mupo set up for me works well much better than the Ohlins set up I was using on my R but it's just what I prefer .
I will go through some info and see what I can dig up from my initial set up . If you need to try some other springs let me know I can assist . Cheers

Thanks for coming in. All started when I changed a few things at once, I wasnt getting on top of the drive out of corners , so put a 41 on the rear + an extra link. I should have known better, but didnt have a ride height tool so after adjusting my chain I was lost. I ride at PI a bit so you would understand getting to much squat between 11-12 and exiting 12 with the head swaying from the rear pumping. Not confidence inspiring .
So I have ( I think ) got my geometry pretty good without being on track. 96mm trail and an accurate 11 degrees swing arm angle . I have only 6mm of fork above the triple , any more and the trail would go below 96mm ? I lifted the rear until trail was 96mm and the 11 degree angle happened . I'm running the 90 spring in the shock , I'm 79kg dry, so I thought maybe a heavier spring in the rear, but i'll try this geometry first. At PI i defineatly wasnt getting the front loaded enough, so maybe .95 springs for that track. I'll dial in comp and reb at practice this weekend before a club race Sunday.

I had the same issue with the rear and was getting too much squat on exit the heavier Spring helped . My measurement on the front is to the top of the cartridge the red part .
Good luck on the weekend
