Gilles Rearsets

Easy install? I received my Gilles Rearsets today.

Looks like every part was included except the instructions. I have the major pieces covered, but if anyone would care to comment on just where, oh, say, those three precisely machined spacers in the center go, I'd appreciate it.

I'm not sure if anyone else thinks receiving a box of bolts and parts instead of assembled rearsets is ridiculous, but I think Rizoma and LighTech might agree.

Think I have it....

Just not sure what those extra parts are for. Perhaps it'll all just be self-explanatory when I pull the stock ones off. Or perhaps I've guessed incorrectly and my rear brake will lock up at 120 next track day right after my shift lever falls off. Or perhaps Gilles sends an engineer out post-install at no charge because that's easier than including instructions (or assembling these in the factory).

just remember be carful with the brake switch on the change over.:)

having played a lot of LEGO as a kid, the assembly was fun. still haven't set up the brake switch. thinking about an adapter for the original switch...
