has anybody used both? if so would love a review. my buddy has the virb obviously i have seen the go pro many times. hands down the go pro vid is better its not even close. however there are other features and battery life. i know i could read mag reviews but i would like a personal experience.

ps go pro the 4 is coming out i believe in oct

Any news on the 4 and what's special ? I might just wait
 
I think the go pro 4 will be about 4k video at 30+ frames per second, the best the 3 can do is 15 fps. Unless you can edit and store 4k, I suspect the discounted go pro 3 black's that will be on sale soon will be the best bet.
