Gold Marchesini wheels

I am looking at picking up spare set of wheels for track duty. Tried on a set of gold ones and like them better than I thought, although I wish they matched the bikes existing magnesium parts better. Thoughts on gold Marchesini wheels on an 1199R? Anyone have any more photos?

I am in the middle of looking myself. My dealer has a set of OEM rims off an S model with rotors for 2500 bucks. I do like the gold look though. Maybe I could get them powder coated....hmm.

Besides bling are they any lighter than the std S wheels ?

Gold does look nice though. Bitch to clean but. To keep it looking like that it would be cleaning after every ride. that would get old soon.

I like it but not on the R. The silver on the tank does not go. Can't wear silver and gold, its "tacky", as I was told.
