Good motorcycle lifts

HF works for me too.... With all the coupons out the door I think I paid 250$ for it. I upgraded the chock to a pit bull wheel chock, still use rear stands on it, as I would with any lift...

It may not be for the workshop or working mechanics ..... But its more than enough for the garage do it yourself guy mechanic. A couple oil changes and it's paid for.

Is it actually good? Or do u wish u spent 10x the $$$,$$$ on a fancy one?
I think its fits my needs. Never had an issue yet except with the original wheel clamp ... It has a steel bar that allows it to have the pressure taken off while it is in place. And make sure you lift doesn't fail with the bike on it. If you can get the 250 deal, or even the 450 selling price, you're making out if you have it for a couple years of service, but expect to have it many more than that.

Here is one that I purchased a couple years ago. These are made in the USA from what I understand. It was not as cheap as some mentioned here but fantastic to use and bullet proof. I connect my compressor to it and up and down it goes. So much easier to work on the bikes.

Got the harbor freight lift myself the other week and I love it. For 350$ you really can't beat the value. Only thing I don't like about it however is in the lowered position it needs a lot of forward room and up position it goes back a lot. But can't really complain when its 350 as compared to 1200+ for some other lifts. Trying to post a picture on this forum is almost impossible, always says image too large

K&L lift. It solid, has 4 different positions. I would not do the diamond plate though. I ground down the diamond plate where the front stand wheels go to make a smoother roll for the wheels.

First I had a Princess Auto (Canada's Harbour Freight) lift....it was OK but a little flimsy (pardon the R1! Lol...)

I then picked up a MAC Tools (rebranded Atlas) lift.....*much* better/sturdier/heavier)....now when I roll the bike onto the lift, it doesn't roll forward because it isn't heavy enough. Also, *zero* sway when fully elevated. To me, it was worth the extra expense. Costco Canada acutally carries the same lift for around $1300 CAD.

I have a Black Widow. Very sturdy, even with my bagger on it. I wouldn't us anything from Harbor Freight, even if it were for free. Don't understand why someone would be willing to pay so much for a bike, but then feel the need to pinch pennies on a lift.

I have the Harbor Freight lift, and got it for free. Works a treat. Though I do not leave it in the air unattended. If I am away more than 5 minutes or so, it goes down.

My track bike stays up there no worries at all lol. And not for nothing but if you do minor maintenance work and only use the stand here and there a 350$ compared to 1300-2k is pretty wild. For example, my service truck I keep snap on and gear wrench tools packed. My garage at home i have husky, harbor freight, and kobalt tools. You're not going to see a harbor freight lift at a motorcycle shop but the stuff in your garage really doesn't take the abuse a full time bike shop lift takes..just my opinion of course

Harbor freight ftw..not the best but its good enough for a diy guy

My HF stand stays up almost all winter with the bike up on stands on it. No worries whatsoever here. I wouldn't put my bikes on it if I didn't trust it. I am also only a DIY owner, and it wouldn't be a commercial shop choice for me either. Price tag sells itself.

The last guy backed ya up so I’m gonna blast ya - good enough for a “my fairing is held on with zip ties” kinda guy

What ever works. Dzus fasteners have been known to grow legs : )

Lol. Track bike/race bike that took plenty beatings. This was the last life line on this fairing set. Too much bondo and fiber glass after being put back together multiple times. A lot of the dzuz fasteners won't even line up, hence the zip ties.. Have a brand new track set ready to go on, once I stop being lazy

Handy Industries is pretty much the gold standard. I’m limited on space with the amount of bikes I have in the garage so I appreciate the Kendon for its ability to fold up and roll away.

I have limited space in my 2 garage I have to move my truck out to work on my bike
I thought about buying the kendon but I don’t think it can put the bike in stands if I want to remove the wheels

Can you guys use front stand on the harbor freight?
It should fit right, removing the wheel stop

I just learned today that if you’re using an iPhone, when you click the icon to embed an image and the box appears to drag or select an image from your library, when you select an image, “original size” shows under it. Click that and four choices pop up - small, medium, large, and original. Original seems to average ~3mb, while large is ~500kb which is small enough to embed.
