Gopro hero 3 - video from weekend ride

Here is my first Gopro/motorcyle mounted video. I shot this at 1440 48fp, but dumbed it down to 1080 for youtube. I used the stand/solid back, and zero wind, and you can hear the engine fine. I need to work on the mounting position, as the windshield is right in the middle :)

Trauma - Where did you go for that ride? I'm still new to the St. Louis area and I wasn't familiar with that rode. I see you got up to 120 at times too :)

I-94 - West of Defience. There are several good roads, this is the closest to me. I went to the Gateway Ducati Club Xmas Party/meeting at Triumph last night, finally joined! You get your engine back I'll show you some others.

Engine came in yesterday and waiting for them to change it out. They say it'll be ready for me by Friday or Saturday.

All the videos look great on my Macbook pro with Retina Display! No pixelation at all, colors are vibrant. I have got to get me one of those go pro Hero 3!

Keep those RPM's Up though! Superbikes love and were made to be ridden at high RPM's ;)

What pipes are you using or is that stock? Sounds great. Also I have been reading bad reviews abotu the Gopro3 such as short battery life, hard to wifi, etc. Thoughts?

I got the new touchscreen view for the back, and it is awesome- but it does eat the battery. The wireless works great, as its adhoc direct to your device, limited distance. So an iPhone or iPad can view/operate the camera.

any luck with the battery pack they sell? Is it work it and how much time does it actually give you ?

I didn't get it because I got yhe rear touchscreen, and the 2 aren't compatbile. The wireless allows you to use a phone or pad as a remote control, so with the touchscree, I never use that function. A second internal battery may make more sense.
