I finally recived my Hero3 Black Edition last week, so now I fnally can use my stem mount I got ages ago. I also found a Ram mount for my iPhone5 for only $8. With this mount, the iPhone can actually be used as a video camera, as the back is open! In th background you can see the little red Zuma GPS. I will post a ride from the Gopro tomorrow.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing!

Anymore pics of how that GPS is mounted to your Panigale?

I can post more tomorrow, but basically that stem mount has a 1" Ram sized ball, so any Ram accessory fits.

Let me know if the stem shakes so much it renders the footage useless....

I've not had much luck with anything other than the short stem options.

Trauma - Where did you get your whole iPhone setup from and how much? (minus the iPhone of course)

uh, it's way past "tomorrow"...or in other words, we're really anxious to see how you mounted the GPS!!

I had installed my little Tom Tom GPS in the same location. Simply apply velcro to the bottom of the Windshield Suction Cup Mount and stick it in place behind the front fairing. I don't know how to describe the location any better. I charge my TomTom GPS in the house then snap it into the GPS Windshield Mount when ready to go for a ride.

Stem I ordered this mount a looong time ago. It was mentioned with a link on this forum. It has a 1" ball on it, so any Ram fits it. I can find it if you can't. It replaces the center piece in your yoke, and sticks up about a quarter inch.

Clamp I then used a 1" (I think the smallest) Ram clamp to mount either the iPhone5 mount or the GoPro.

Gopro Black Edition I had a 1" ball on 1" square plate Ram mount that I attached the flat adhesive mount that comes with the Gopro.

iPhone5 For this mount, I ordered Amazon.com: RAM Mount Apple iPhone 5 Custom Cradle: Cell Phones & Accessories the advantage of this mount (for me) it fits the iPhone5 w/o a case, and I don't use one. Also, the back is wide open so you can use it to video your ride

GPS As mentioned above, I used a red (color matching :; ) Tom-Tom. It came with a couple smooth rounded adhesive disc mounts. I stuck one firmly to the rubber cover of the bulb access, then used it's suction cup mount to adhere to the disc.

To give you all an idea of why I am trying to create the ultimate dash layout for my Pani, the first pic is my Tiger's dash :)

My iPhone is interfaced to a Cobra radar detecor, that was I can be listening to music, take calls, and hear the radar alerts all through Bluetooth from the iPhone to my Sena. I can also use the iPhone as a second GPS, or tilt it up to double as a second video camera.

Nice. Thanks for sharing. That gives me more ideas. Love to see video of that set up.
