I like to mount it on my helmet, but I found that having it up on top I couldnt see any of the bike. So I played around with it a little, and I found that mounting it upside down, either right where the mouthpiece is, or on the side, but both UPSIDE DOWN, you get a perfect angle of the bike and the road, plus when you look around the camera sees everything you see (obviously). I didnt have an issue with battery time so I went out and bought an LCD backpack, which really helps with aiming and reviewing videos and such. I leave my settings in 1080P. Here's a little preview, mounted upside down on the helmet I used the links to try to get the camera as low to my shoulder as I could without hitting it when I turn my head. Giving a GREAT angle! Yes I know the chick on the GSXR 750 is drop dead sexy, and yes I know I ride like a ......., yes that was a cop we were following, and near the end of the video yes that was cop we got pulled over by, no we didnt get a ticket... Enjoy! (Taken last year on my 848)
