I'm looking for an 1199s in matte black! Anyone know of someone who is looking to sell? PNW is preferable.

Edit: looking for used or private sale.

Black is such a hard finish to keep looking good...you should consider white ...;)
 
What if you put the matte 3m on there? I've been told it goes on without reflectivity and is at the $300 mark
 
No experience of that .... I have known 2 guys with matte ducs and they look terrible after low miles .... So I would never.....

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for that, I hadn't really talk to anyone who had seen one with wear. I'll do some pondering on a color change.

My thought process is:

Matte black: just looks ...... awesome.

Red: Screams Ducati and looks great with the gold marchesinis.

White: looks plain but when you can make it look unique with just about any accent color on your mods...

And I don't want a frickin sticker kit...

Help me I'm dying here.

Something else to bear in mind...buying a used Black ..well the "damage" may already be done??? Marks/scuffs etc...

I have had red and now white....White looks way better in my view....

Get a matte black and wash it with sandpaper to keep it looking fresh and matte. :cool:

True I guess I should wait until mid April, once the 1299 Is released they (dealerships) will drop the price on new ones.
