Ducati Winchester has a few and they have this one I really like!

Matte is a nice showpiece color. Any other color including black gloss would be much better for actual use.

Just go primer. Can't lose :)
 
White is soooooo boring, red is hot out of the box, and forever!
 
I don't need to post mine, do I? :)

Red is too traditional. White is more outside the box. Also, gives many more options for color options for parts.
 
I know a guy with the black as well. A couple thousand miles in it looks like .....

If you really don't want red seriously consider the classy white. The white haters on this forum are mostly mad because these Ducati fanboys demand red.

Either way, color aside you'll enjoy the bike no matter how much the paint fades.

Look at his bike and maybe that will help your opinion.

Have you actually seen the black in person? Looks awful in my own opinion...

a demo at $20K at this time of year is no deal at all.

Dealers by me were offering black 1199's brand new out of the crate for $20,000 and no fees four months ago.

Demo bikes no longer come with a full two year warranty so i wouldn't seek that route.

Thanks, I respect your opinion. That's two nays on the flat black so white was tied with red and red seems ... Common. So I may go with a white and gold scheme. Plastidip will be my friend.

I really liked the black in person actually but if it only last a few thousand miles it's not worth the headache..
