Got rid of bunny ears

vik, something you could try is to bend those brackets so the turn sigs would be parallel to the ground. Just a thought.

I know one of the members is making blanking plates with built in turn sigs, I think I might try them.

thats ok. but it does look much better in person, just because those rizoma are very beautifully designed. i may try a few different locations. but for now atleast i have turn signals. lol

I'm in the same camp.

Although OEM mirrors are pretty ineffective they do give some rear vision. When I "pretend" I've got the bar end mirrors on it seems to me that its not an easy or natural position to get your head to? Those who have them do you get use to the position?

And on the aesthetics the make the bike look a bit old /retro / cafe racer??

Well although looks are a personal preference, let me tell u these crg arrows are a LOT better than the stock mirrors. You see much more and there is zero vibration so you can actually see stuff.

The main issue with that concept is that those leds don't face forward but sideways. So you don't see them blinking bright enough from the front, esp in day time. I know this because I have the same leds mounted for rear turn signals. They are only bright enough if u are right behind them. If you look at an angle they look too dim.y

vik is right, I've got arrows on my sf and they look like they were made for the bike, I agree that typically round crg mirrors would look kinda retro on the 1199, but angular design of the arrow is very complimentary to the lines of the 1199.

I'm probably going to end up with the arrows as well. What's reallly nice is you can fold them out of the way when not being used.

Ahhhh I see re: the leds.

.....and that's a great thing to be able to see!! :D The OEM mirrors are very poor and the best you get is a blurred vibrating view!! So do you get use to the position of the bar end mirrors. As I said it seems like an awkward position to me?

I got used to them on my streetfighter and that's after about two years of using the original mirrors.
