You're in Orange County, so you'll have an opportunity to see the 1199 before most people at the International Motorcycle Show. Hope to see some pics!

What are you riding now? Do you know which 1199 model you're planning on getting?

I currently have a CBR600RR. I plan on purchasing the 1199 S model with ABS. However, if there are good reviews of the marzocchi/sachs setup, I may opt for the base model. I have never owned a Ducati but have had the pleasure of riding the 695 and 888 extensively. The 888 has been a joy to experience.

Welcome. Had a Duc before and what a blast that was. Then went to Aprilia and it was/is a disaster. I didn't find any other bike exciting except the Eric Buell Racing 1190RS. But the 1199 has trumped that.

wow, I can't believe it's been 16 months since I made this thread. I am picking up my 2013 Panigale S ABS today. I am pretty damn excited.

I couldn't pull the trigger at the time.. insurance was too high, dealer mark-up was too high, interest rates were too high and my priorities were all over the place.

I had one made from Ti, one from ceramic and now a bronze one for beating around in.

I love the bronze subs.

I have the 275. Kind of overpriced for stainless steel but like I said, my priorities were all over the place. Here's what I picked up today.
