Hard start

Any updated on this?
yes I ended up fitting an Arrow slip on and i have not had a problem since. thinking it was the back pressure from the cats causing the problem, I then installed a T800 Map and it has fixed the throttle issue so once you buy a 34k bike, you need to spend another 3k to make it usable. Emissions control really suck Lol

So true!!

This was the source of my hard starts.

The overfill monster strikes again.
Are you sure? Mine's at halfway mark and is becoming harder and harder to start after a week layover. 2000 mi now but when it was new it started right up...mostly.

Stock mapping sucks on these bikes and startup is always wonky. OFT solved all of that whether stock exhaust or not, like night & day. Fires right up, idles smooth, no popping, and throttle response is excellent now.
Originally " want to hear it run?" meant waiting a solid 5 minutes to warmup before it wouldn't choke & sputter with the slightest bit of throttle input. Meeting stringent emissions with over 200 hp means making sacrifices, and the stock mapping is probably the biggest.

All three of my Ducati motorcycles have starting issues. They are all much better after removing the charcoal canisters, installing an exhaust, and flashing a new map. Even then they sound like they are on their last leg, LOL. At least my 2020 cafe racer appears more "vintage" when it sounds like it really is from the '70s. ;)

Hi, i am in the same boat. I have 1500 miles and it is hard to start. Bike has been at the dealer almost 2 weeks and they don’t have and answer yet. Didn’t have this issue before.

Then end quote in this video

Lmao, the result after I spent all day installing the exhaust & flashing my ecu with tuneboy after it kept reaching 90-95% done and failing (at least 12-15 times)

We good now XD

So my bike has been at the dealer for 2 months and still no fix for this. Should i start a Lemon Law process? Never done it not sure how it works. Dealer has been nice and have been working on it; just no fix for it.
Any ideas?

It's common problem with the brand just look at the other bikes there stacked up in line waiting for repairs and parts. 80% of the bikes that sit at the dealerships broken have electrical issues and they can't ever figure it out.

I had to look twice to make sure it wasnt me that sent this hahah.

My bike was in for 2 months as well. Mechanic have been working hard but Italy side hasnt been helpful.

Issue with mine was the bike kept dying when coming to a stop.

Mechanic found out cylinder 1 was off spec compared to the rest. This is the same case with many of the bikes here as well.

Maybe you can get them to look into your cylinder?
