Has anyone tried Ecunleashed for an ECU flash? They offer a flash for $495. Fairly pricey, but worth it if it make my 1299 howl. I presently have a RapidBike Evo installed, which has done nothing for the bike for the last 1000 miles except make the bike feel like it's about to stall between 4000 and 5500 rpm. So I'm ready for an actual pre-mapped, non adjusting, turn off the O2 sensors, tune. I have a pre-mapped ECU flash on my 2015 R1 and on a 2012 ZX10R that I used to own, and I love it. Both were from FT ECU, but they don't offer a flash for the 1299.

Have you hooked it up to the computer software and see what's going on or spoken to Rapid Bike? I've always found them very approachable (in my country anyway)

Seems a shame to give up on it. Turned my new to me cranky 1199 into a civilised animal.

I did hook it up to my latop and had Yaman look at it via Teamspace. He said it looked like RapidBike was doing something. He recommended that I ride the piss out of it, which is always good advice, but it doesn't explain the lack of performance improvement and the hesitation. He said that if it didn't improve in 200 more miles we should look at it again. I will give him another chance to look at it, because I paid a lot of money for the RapidBike Evo and I truly want it to work.

I cut the flapper valve cable about a month ago. The spring holds the valve open when the cable is cut.
