Have the 2013s been less "trouble" prone?

Panigale purchased May this year with a build date of February. Only 700 miles so far and zero issues. Clean bill of health at first service. I'm confident it will be fine. Previous Ducs (916, 1098, 1198) have been solid.

Thanks. I've had 748, 996, 1098 Tri, and 1198 all of which had no issues and heat and riding position comes with the bike. So, I'm not terribly worried.

Just had my first "stalling fit".. just hit 650 miles (going in for 1st service tomorrow)

coming into a turn to an on-ramp, stalled out as i went into first, wouldn't start for about 3 minutes, after it got going again everything was fine

I'm now up to 720 miles on my R, 10 miles past my first service. (This includes 220 track miles.)

Still no problems and no stalls. :)

With about 400 miles on my 1199R it stalled while making a slow right hand turn and of course locks up the rear wheel. Happend so darn fast couldn't save it, went down and cost the insurance $3,500 and me $500. As this happened on a friday a block away from my house, it sure ruined that great weekend feeling. As I had stalling issues with my '07 1098s, which I bought new, sure thought they had it cured by now. Guess not.

I have the 2013 S Tricolore. So far I've had a front cowling issue, a fogged display and the right turn signal intermittent issue. The dealership has been very cooperative so far, they ordered me a new front fairing and my wire harness for the right turn signal will be installed in the next week or so.

Almost happened to me recently, too. I consider it Ducati's program to make sure everyone is covering their clutch with a finger.

Why on earth would you go through insurance? Your bike malfunctioned under warranty. Ducati is on the hook for that.
